Beginner's Luck

Beginner's Luck is the universe inviting you to stick with something.

When you try something new and get it right on the first try, like a bulls-eye or a strike, I believe that the universe itself is giving you a taste of what you could be if you commit yourself to that particular skill.

It’s giving you a taste of what it feels like to be great! This is what I feel as I am starting my new journey into sharing and exploring the healing powers of Guitar Therapy.

As I progress in this journey, I am finding so many therapeutic elements in the daily discipline alone. For example, setting up my Twitch account seemed daunting at first. I didn't know the first thing about streaming live or playing to a virtual audience in a room by myself. But I've been waking up at 4:30am every morning to commit one hour of my day to this and I've already felt a significant amount of progress. Whether it is decorating my page, creating and posting new content, I find it helpful for myself and hope that it is helping some else somewhere.

There is a quote that I keep coming back to from the movie The Last Samurai,

"From the moment they wake, they devote themselves to the perfection of whatever they pursue. I have never seen such discipline."

I truly believe the universe is inviting me to share my talent, skills, knowledge, and discipline with the world.
